2007 Tribeca Film Festival Highlights

The 2007 Tribeca Film Festival is underway in and around New York. Running through May 6, there's plenty to see and do for cinephiles, casual filmgoers and everyone in between. Here's a couple of choice highlights outside of the glitz and glamour:

TRIBECA FOR FREE

You don't need a ticket to everything! Not only do we show movies, we’re also committed to giving back to the community that hosts us every year by offering these free events (Spider-Man 3 Premieres, Tribeca Drive-In, Film Technology Workshops, and many more!)

FAMILY FEST

Round up the kids and join Tribeca for international family films and neighborhood events including kid-friendly programming and Family Festival Street Fair with family-oriented activities!

STUDENT DISCOUNTS

Another great reason to be in a student! Tribeca is offering half price student tickets that are now available for all Regular, Matinee, and Family Screenings (Valid Student ID required)

TRIBECA TALKS PANELS

Tribeca just got funnier! Well, our panels did. Debra Messing, The Daily Show’s Samantha Bee along with Susie Essman from Curb Your Enthusiasm just joined the already witty roster of funnygirls, hosted by Jay Roach. Also, John Prendergast, John Carpenter, Bill Weir, Andrew D. Cooke and Peter Block discuss their unique views on the culture (and underbelly) of film.

INTERNATIONAL FILM SCREENINGS

Get Global with these amazing international flicks! This year, Tribeca spotlights over 159 Feature Films and 85 shorts selected from over 4,550 submissions and 41 different countries globally including, France, Turkey, Hong Kong, Russia and many more.
