“Captain America: The First Avenger” is a superhero film that was first released in 2011. The goal of the film was to introduce the audience to the Captain America character prior to his appearance in “The Avengers.” “Captain America: The First Avenger” was the fifth Marvel film made, and it remains to be one of their best.

The film revolves around a small but brave kid, Steve Rogers, as he gets genetically enhanced to turn into a super-solider. Rogers tours the country to build support for the war before he is thrust into action to help save the world.

“Captain America: The First Avenger” features great action throughout the film and some of the best acting found in a superhero film, especially from Tommy Lee Jones and Chris Evans. The film is set to become one of Marvel’s best until it ends in a very disappointing fashion. Captain America anticlimactically defeats his enemy and is abruptly sent in a coma. The film then cuts 70 years in the future to present day to show Nick Fury awakening Captain America from his coma. While this is done to allow Captain America to appear in “The Avengers,” forces a quality film to end on a sour note.

Made in Dagenham is a cheeky period drama about women’s rights in the 1960s. Specifically the equal pay strike that took place at a Ford plant in 1968.
Sally Hawkins plays the lead in this entertaining film based on a true story and is absolutely delightfully in her role. Hawkin’s character, Rita O’Grady, is too meek to rock the boat of the world she lives in but accidentally finds herself becoming the catalyst of a massive strike that will forever change the course of history and women’s rights in the workplace.
Bob Hoskins is a strong moral character who orchestrates the strike around Rita while Kenneth Cranham plays the union leader, and Miranda Richardson the Labor Minister.Want more? Click here{{/tag} The entire cast is solid but Hawkins is the one who truly brightens up every scene.
Niki Caro’s film is a look at the relationship between men and women from several different angles. Marriage and politics are examined along with the roles of women in the workplace. The bottom line though is that this movie is entertaining and does not feel preachy or heavy-handed.
In conclusion, Made in Dagenham is a feel-good, stick it to the man sort of drama. It’s light entertainment, but completely worthwhile

Even though it was widely successful in the movie theatres and its subsequent releases, it seemed that Drive kind of came and went from our minds as avid moviegoers and that’s really a shame. Even if you get your movie channels through places like http://www.cable.tv/ or the like, you might have noticed how it was available and then it just sort of disappeared. So how does a movie that was critically acclaimed like Drive just suddenly disappear from the minds of the general public and the film community?

Simple, really. Drive was unlike anything many of us had ever seen. It was unconventional. Sure, the actual story itself wasn’t something super remarkable but that wasn’t the real draw of the movie, it was how the story was told that really defined it from all the rest. You had a protagonist who rarely spoke and you didn’t even know his name, yet you knew everything about this character purely through their actions and his actions were both devastating and absolutely terrifying. His actions created a kind of tension not many of us have felt in a protagonist or a situation and that was what sealed the deal when it came to this movie’s legacy and reputation as a unique and exceptional classic. Forgotten or not.

I admit that I did not want to go with my friends at first when they asked me to watch X-Men: First Class since I have never been a big fan of those kind of movies. However, I am very happy that I did because I truly enjoyed watching this movie.

James McAvoy played an excellent job playing the role of Professor X, and he gave justice to the role. All the other actors and actresses in the movie also did a superb job, especially Michael Fassbender as Erik Lehnsherr or also known as Magneto. The full explanation can be found at http://blog.moviefone.com/2011/06/27/x-mens-james-mcavoy-michael-fassbender-may-reunite-in-trance/ I was thrilled with the effects used in the movie as well because it made me feel that they truly wanted to impress their viewers. Even though I only watched in a regular cinema, I still felt as if I watched in 3D because of their impressive effects.

I am happy that I watched this movie because aside from the fact that it has exceptional effects and the actors and actresses did a great job playing their roles, it also has a great story. I will definitely recommend this movie to everyone I know because it is one of the best movies that I have watched for 2011.

I was not impressed with the second movie of the Twilight saga, which is New Moon. With the third part of the saga, Breaking Dawn, I was hoping that it would turn out better than the first two movies of the Twilight saga. I was not disappointed though because Breaking Dawn was definitely the best out of all the Twilight saga movies. I am not saying though that it is one of the best movies that I have ever watched since there were parts in the movie that I had to use my earphone to cover up my ears. I just got too sick and tired of hearing how Bella wants to have both Jacob and Edward in her life. I just think that it would be better if Bella, who is played by Kristen Stewart, has an idea on who she wants to have in her life. It just makes me feel and think that she is being selfish wanting both men by her side. I guess teenagers would like this movie better than I did because it is filled with romantic and sappy love conversations between Bella and Edward and Bella and Jacob. However, there were also some funny parts in the movie that I truly enjoyed.

The cast of the Harry Potter films just spent the past decade dedicated to bringing J.K. Rowling-s books to the big screen. Now we-ve reached the long awaited conclusion. Expectations are the highest they-ve ever been, and despite a few weak moments in past installments, this last chapter exceeds all of them.

Deathly Hallows part 2 is full of shadows and gloom, a long road from the light-hearted beginnings of the 11-year-old Harry we met in Sorcerer-s Stone. Like the characters, the movies have matured. Fans of the series need no explanations, and for everyone else I don-t want to reveal any spoilers, the appeal of part 2 is its tying up of the loose ends unraveled in the past 7 movies. Harry, Ron and Hermione are grown-up and finally face the epic evil head-on; there are some casualties, not all of them human. It-s safe to assume fans will find in Deathly Hallows part 2 everything they-re hoping to see brought to a head.

The final film does a fantastic job making the long awaited show-down believable, tragic and heroic. Harry Potter may have seemed like just another franchise in the beginning, but has grown into something more. I don-t think it-s a stretch to say they will be watched for many more years.

Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows, the last movie in the Harry Potter series, is one of the best movies that I have ever watched in my entire life. I thought at first that the movie would not turn out great because other movies that I have watched in the past, that are based from a novel or a story, was not able to capture what was written in the book. However, the Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows movie was able to tell everything that was written in the book.

I was impressed with the effects of the movie because while I was watching it, I felt as if I was right there beside Harry, Ron, and Hermione fighting against Lord Voldemort. Furthermore, the actors and actresses in the movie have proved that they have gone a long way in terms of acting since they started filming the first Harry Potter movie years ago.

Will I recommend this movie? Yes, I will. If you are a fan of fantasy movies, then Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows is the best choice for you. I will also recommend this to everyone who grew up watching Harry Potter with his friends, just like I did.
